COUNTY SHERIFF

The Edwards County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to protecting and serving the residents of rural Edwards County and its four towns through preventative patrol and investigative methods. In addition to law enforcement duties, the office is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Edwards County Jail, which has a maximum capacity of 12 beds but typically houses no more than nine inmates at a time.

The Sheriff’s Office also oversees civil process services, ensuring that summons, subpoenas, warrants, and other legal documents are properly served in accordance with the law. Through these responsibilities, the Edwards County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to maintaining safety, order, and justice within the community.
